Kids Multi-Sports Camp

Thanks to all the kids who took part in our Winter camps across Dubai, making it such a success. A great time was had by all and it was fantastic to see so many of you keeping active whilst having fun over the break. We look forward to seeing you again at our Easter Camp!

New Coaches – Welcome to Coach Jordi and Coach Aminat

We are delighted to introduce you to Jordi Munoz Abreu and Aminat Quadre, who have recently joined our growing team of Rackets Academy Coaches.  Jordi, who joins as High Performance Coach, started his professional career at the age of 18, attaining his best ranking singles ATP 639 and reaching the final in Iran and his best ranking doubles 291 ATP with more than 20 titles in Futures, and two semi-finals in Challengers tournaments.

Former Venezuelan Davis cup player from 2015 to 2020, playing 7 times plays off, Jordi during this time in national tournaments with over 100 titles, including a final in the national championship, losing against Rafa Nadal and Marc López 7-6 7-6.

With over 10 years of experience as a coach in Spain combined with his professional career, Jordi starts his experience in Dubai with the main goal of making young tennis players learn and enjoy this sport!

Aminat Quadre, has been associated with tennis her whole life as a player and a coach. She started tennis at the age of 6 and has played junior ITF in literally every country in Africa. At 13, she was top player in the girls 18 categories in Nigeria.

Aminat has been coaching for over 5 years. She played college tennis in the University of Port Harcourt where she studied Accounting. She won the University games and qualified for world university games.

Her love for tennis has encouraged her to introduce young players to the game as she emphasizes that tennis is a game of love and should be experienced by all. Whilst in college, she organised programmes for younger players (red balls, yellow balls) and obtained sponsorships for aspiring future champions.

She combines her love for kids and tennis to create a warm, lively and safe environment for kids to learn and enjoy tennis and at the same time, bring up aspiring juniors in future.
