Get to know our players – Garv Bahl

Our Elite player, Garv Bahl, just got back from two back-to-back ITF tournaments in Cyprus where he made the final in singles and semifinals in doubles, not a bad results considering it was his first tournament after recovering from a wrist injury. Congratulations Garv, we are very proud of you! Let’s keep up the great work and bringing trophies back to Rackets Academy.

Some thoughts on his experience and deep run at the ITFs in Cyprus:

“This was the first tournament after recovering from my wrist injury so I was a bit nervous going into the tournament. Throughout the tournament I had to play against many different players with their own specialties and game styles and I had to persevere through many ups and downs, especially in the second round being down a set and 1-3, but along with Kirk’s guidance and hard work I was able to make it to the finals. Unfortunately, I didn’t play my best match in the finals but you learn most from losses and I think I was a great experience for me to find out where I stand amongst international players and have brought back lots to improve and work on”.
