George Green

Director

George spent his junior career playing in the U.K. He represented his county of Yorkshire at every level and won a county title in 2000. After competing in the National Championships in his final year of Junior level George decided to remain in education and went on to gain a degree in business and economics after being awarded Division One scholarships in the USA at Fairleigh Dickinson University and in the UK at Leeds Metropolitan University where he was first team Captain.

With 18 years of coaching experience from all over the world George has developed effective coaching methods and professionalism influenced from his work with top academies in the USA, U.K, Spain, Australia, Singapore and Dubai. George is USPTR and LTA qualified.

Combining these skills with his passion for the tennis George has endeavoured to build Rackets Academy, translating his vision, enthusiasm and style to clients, whether it be with high performance juniors or beginners.

Mariano Pettigrosso

Head Coach

After finishing in the top 5 Juniors tennis player in Argentina, Mariano attended college in the United States where he ranked 28th nationally (NCAA Division 1) and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Management.

After a few seasons as a professional tennis player, and raking 800th in the world, Mariano started his career as a High Performance Coach. With more than 10 years of experience coaching ATP, WTA, and Juniors players, he has participated in all 4 Grand Slams and has worked for two of the most prestigious European tennis academies (Schuttler-Waske Tennis University in Germany and Kim Clijsters Academy in Belgium).

Today, Mariano shares his passion for tennis and international experience with his players, helping them reach their best performance level, all, while enjoying their time on the court.

Mariano also serves as sparring partner for some of the top professional tennis players who regularly come to Dubai for their off-season preparation, such as Lucas Pouille (#20 ATP) and Svetlana Kuznetzova (#8 WTA)

Mariano’s languages include Spanish, English, French & Italian.

Martin Patino

Head of Performance

Martin developed himself as a tennis player in Argentina, playing both national and international junior tournaments. Once he finished the junior stage, he went on to play satellite and future’s tournaments, while studying for tennis coach at the National Center for High Performance Sports (INEF), ending up working with ATP / WTA recognized coaches. He decided to expand his knowledge and went to get a degree on Marketing at CAECE University, which opened the doors to work as a Marketing Analyst at the Argentinean Tennis Federation.

Working around the world, developing adult training programs, he ended up in Barcelona, where he has been working as Head Coach at prestigious academies (Pro AB Academy and BTT Academy), side by side with Francis Roig (Rafa Nadal coach) and Jordi Vilaró (former Spanish Davis Cup Captain) and Spain’s best juniors and recognized ATP players, for the last 15 years.

I consider myself to be a professional yet welcoming coach, willing to help players improve their level no matter where they start from.

Sarah Nael

Camp Coordinator & Coach

Ranked number 6 on Egypt for her age group for 8 years and with over 26 years on court, Sarah has a huge passion for tennis.

She majored in Accounting and started coaching while studying in university. With a passion for humanitarian aid, she pursued a part time master’s degree and earned it in Migration and Refugee Studies from the American University in Cairo while professionally pursuing her coaching career.

With 10 years of coaching experience, Sarah is a certified ITF level 1 and 2 coach. She attended various coaching workshops, an ITF Regional Coach Conference and The ITF World Coaches Conference. The coaching conferences has created a platform for interacting and gaining experiences to different coaching insights from all over the world. 

Her coaching philosophy focuses on developing the overall tennis game with the correct foundation and basics that allows the player a sustainable progress. She has been coaching all ages and levels, from 3 years old to veterans over 60, from beginners and intermediate to performance players and the national teams. She has coached top 5 Egyptian players and the Egyptian national Team players for over 7 years. 

She was a member of the Development Committee at the Egyptian Tennis Federation in charge of the under 10 task force working in reshaping the Red, Orange and Green Tennis games working towards turning it into developmental effective and fun for children under 10. Children’s psychology is a pivotal factor in their development. This is an area that she greatly focuses on while coaching and in overall interaction

Her languages include Arabic, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Greek.

Kris Neskovic

Tournament Director & Coach

Kris has played tennis professionally up until 17 years old and in that period he was successful at regional level. Kris became one of the first five players on the Belgrade rankings list and among the first ten players on the national rankings  for under 14 and under 16, and has played several European tournaments in Junior categories.
Kris has over 5 years experience in coaching and is now the Tournament Director at our facility.

Sean Medley

Head Coach Al Barari

In the early years of Sean’s tennis career he competed across the UK tennis circuit at county and national level. He attended Sutton junior tennis centre where he actually lead his first tennis coaching session at the age of 15.

Sean’s coaching career spans over 21 years where he secured a head coach position, has managed ITF events and developed junior performance/elite training programs.

After years of playing & coaching tennis at exclusive clubs across the globe, including Donald Trump’s famous Mar-O-Lago (West Palm Beach Florida), the exclusive Merion Cricket Club (Philadelphia USA), Flagship Club David Lloyd (Maidstone, UK), The Royal Charles-Quint Tennis Club (Brussels, Belgium) and Aloha Tennis & Padel Club (Marbella) Sean found himself in Dubai.

Sean ensures each and every client is made to feel welcome, comfortable and confident regardless of the level they are starting at, and makes each lesson enjoyable yet beneficial to the progress of play.

Alana Casey

Head Coach of JDP / NLP & mindset coach / Schools Coordinator

Her love for tennis at the age of 4. In the early years of Alana’s tennis career, she competed across the UK tennis circuit at county and national level. It was Alana’s experience of enjoying this sport so much whilst she was growing up that made her decision to become a coach so easy. Alana is passionate that others can learn and enjoy a sport that will help and enrich their wellbeing just like it did for her.

 

Alana’s primary focus is a pathway for all, learning the technical tactical and physical side of the game, whilst also taking part in match plays and competitions or just simply finding a love for the game.

She has been coaching for 14 years in the UK, Australia and Dubai. In this time, she has secured a head coach position, building a junior development program running from tots through to teenagers whilst at the same time being proud of building a safe and happy community. Alana has led, MISSHITS, a program trained by Judy Murray to support introducing young girls aged 5-8 years to join tennis, cardio tennis, positive fitness sessions with music for children and adults. She has an influential experience of organising tournaments, internal and external of all ages and she also coordinates programmes in schools.

Alana has a foundation degree in sport and exercise sciences and is an Neuro linguistic business practitioner.  All behaviour has a structure. This can be modelled, learned, taught & changed (reprogrammed). Alana will lead, coach, mentor and train our players in both a professional and friendly platform. It will give them a feel of empowerment, build self-belief, an understanding of thoughts and feelings, encouraging positive and uplifting self-talk, and build confidence. This will give them more tools to help deal with stressful situations, challenges they may face and get from present states to desired outcomes.

She is an active individual who has a passion for Sport and Exercise. I was fortunate to play rounders for England u16 and captain ladies hockey team for my local club for a few seasons, a sport I am lucky to still play out here in Dubai and love.  As I have grown with my experience, I have been lucky enough to have the opportunity to travel and volunteer, which gave me the chance to gain some great life experience. I have travelled across Africa, India, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia.

Alana is a positive and influential individual who has a high personal drive to inspire and help others to attain their goals.

 

Petar Kaucic

High Performance Coach

Petar Kaucic, 29, a native of Zagreb, Croatia, is a tennis professinal coach worlds. Petar started to play tennis when he was 6 years old and was nationaly ranked top 7-10 in all age categories. He also played ITF junior tournaments, futures and challenger as well.

At age of 17 Petar decided to study kinesiology (Sport Science) at Faculty of Kinesiology, University in Zagreb where he achieved his master degree with master thesis “Specific endurance in Tennis”. Also, earning a degree Petar achieved Croatian Tennis Association certificate. During last 2 years of studying Petar was also working as a coach of top croatian ITF junior players in Zagreb.

After a graduation Petar started to work in Tennis Club “Top Spin” in Zagreb, Croatia where he was working with top level Croatian junior players and also recreational players. During this period he was invited by Borna Coric ranked 33 ATP to travel with him on two tournaments.

Enjoying the coaching experience Petar decided to start a new position in Tehran, Iran. He accepted new challenge and started to work for Optigenpro Tennis Academy in junior high performance develepoment where he was working with talented iranian players. It was a great experience for Petar to start and develop tennis in academy from the very beginning. He saw the opportunity to combine his loves of tennis and teaching and decided to pursue a full time career as professional tennis coach.

Jordi Munoz Abreu

High Performance Coach

Jordi started his professional career a the age of 18 reaching his best ranking singles ATP 639,reaching the final in Iran and his best ranking doubles 291 ATP with more than 20 titles in Futures, and two semifinal in Challengers tournaments.

Former Venezuelan Davis cup player from 2015 to 2020 playing 7 times plays off . He has taken part during these years in national tournaments with over 100 titles,also with a final in the national championship losing against Rafa Nadal and Marc López 7-6 7-6. 

With over 10 year of experience as a coach in Spain combined with his professional career, Jordi starts this experience in Dubái with the main goal of making young tennis players learn and enjoy this sport!

Kirk Rebuyas

High Performance Coach

Kirk was born and raised in Dubai, he started his tennis career as early as the age of 5. Being ranked no.1 in all the junior categories in the UAE growing up. He began performing and competing in the ITF juniors and reached a career high of 380.

Kirk began coaching 7 years ago along side with his studies. He had graduated finishing his Bachelor’s degree in Business and Management from Murdoch University, Dubai. Instead, he loves to share his passion and heart for the sport and hopes to bring up young aspiring juniors in the near future.

He joined Rackets Academy in 2019 and has big hopes to create great players and spark interest to those who are new to the sport.

Agustin Mancini

High Performance and Fitness Coach

Since I started playing tennis at age 7 , I have been immersed in this passionate world. My dedication has led me to compete at a high junior level in Argentina and South America.

At 17 years old I made the decision to study Fitness Coach thus combine my passion for tennis and sport with the desire to understand how the human body works.

This training allowed me to acquire a deep knowledge about anatomy, physiology, nutrition among other aspects, obtaining skills to combine the technical part of tennis with an approach focused on physical condition.

Throughout these 8 years of experience as a professional, I had the opportunity to work in various clubs and tennis academies in Argentina and Spain, working as Personal Trainer, Tennis Coach and Fitness Coach.Adapting to different ages and levels of players from national level, ITF and with the ATP points.

James Morris

My name is James (Jimmy) Morris
For the last 12 years I have been learning my trade in all parts of the UK and internationally. From running a small performance programme to travelling full time with national champions,Tennis Europe ,ITF, ATP and WTA world ranked players all round the world who have achieved a lot in their tennis careers.
I am so excited to be part of the team to help create the next generation of players.
I have always worked closely with some very highly ranked players to create the best personal programme for them, from their tennis tournament analysis, nutrition, strength & conditioning and mental coaching.
I was a top 20 Great British player and have competed internationally in Europe and round the world. I still love playing and do a lot of hitting still with highly world ranked players.
I love tennis and in the past year have also been doing some co commentary on tv for some professional tennis events on BT SPORT when I haven’t been needed to travel to tournaments.
I am a very enthusiastic coach that brings high energy to every session, always complete professionalism and asks every player to work as hard as they can, so no dream to big!

Jordan Bull

Performance Coach

Jordan growing up in Wimbledon started playing tennis from an early age. Throughout the 12’s, 14’s and 16’s age groups he was within the top 20 in the UK and competed at the highest level up until the age of 20 when he turned his focus to coaching.

During the last few years of his playing career he competed all over the world against many of whom are now on the professional tour reaching a ITF ranking of top 800. Playing in some of the most prestigious tournaments including the Orange Bowl and was part of the team that won the World Championships for schools in Belgium.

For the last 7 years he has coached all ages and abilities from beginners to performance players. He has a fun approach to coaching and a passion to get kids and adults enjoying their tennis. He reached a career high of World No.2 at touchtennis so comes with great hands!

Sam Omoile

Performance Coach

Sam has a great love for Tennis and this transfers onto the court with clients. He began his playing career in Africa competing on the ITF juniors circuit and ended the this with a top 200 Junior ITF ranking and number 3 in Nigeria. He then turned professional and continued to compete on the ITF curcuit all over the world. Sam has also represented Nigeria at the Davis cup.

Sam has been coaching for over 5 years, in South Africa, and Houston, Texas as well as a hitting partner to the pros at the Dubai Open Championship for 2 years. He is now part of the Rackets Academy family and intends to push himself and his clients to the next level.

He has a passion for high performance and has the experience and drive to challenge young aspiring kids to get to the highest level. He is loved by all his clients of all ages and abilities.

Daniel Querol

Performance Coach

I’m Daniel. I’m from Barcelona. I started playing tennis when I was 6 years old, and I’ve been in the world of tennis since then. As a player, I participated in numerous tournaments and I was one of the top young players in Catalonia.

Six years ago, I’ve turned into a tennis coach. I’ve worked with players of all ages and levels, from beginners to experienced competitors. I’ve also traveled as a coach and sparring with junior players to tournaments around the world.

On the academic side, I’ve followed with my university studies with a degree in Sports Management from Ramón Llull University in Barcelona.

Ignasi Majoral Soler

Performance Coach

I am from Barcelona. I started playing tennis when I was 5 years old. I played national tournaments all over Spain and therefore I played tournaments on behalf of my club. 

Then I started my professional career in 2016, at the BTT Tennis Academy, which is one of the most prestigious academies in the world. Besides I had the opportunity to learn from coaches such as Francis Roig (Rafa Nadal Coach) and Jordi Vilaro (former Spanish Davis Cup Captain).

I believe I am very versatile, within the academy I have trained people from beginners such as children and adults to the best sub10, sub12 and sub14 players in Spain.

In addition I have been in charge of three school tennis groups which have lead me to organize club championships.

On the whole, In 2020 I graduated in Business and Administration at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.

Josh Mills

I have been coaching for 14 years gaining a wealth of experience in the uk and Spain. Throughout my time I have taught a range of ages, levels, groups and individuals with a passion of helping people improve their tennis. Helping players reach another level in tennis is just as much about understanding the person you are which relates to how you learn and how fast you can improve. 

I started out teaching recreation juniors helping them develop all parts of their game to be able to compete and I taught adults  how to play doubles more

Efficiently. I quickly started a business going into different schools giving the opportunity for children to learn tennis, where I used talent id to build my own development squads for children with potential. I Most recently worked at a regional tennis centre in london where I coached high performance players between the ages 10-14 and i helped them compete in nationally and tennis europes. I have also helped players starting out their tennis journey at 4-5 years olds and taken them on compete in national tennis tournaments with one player becoming a double national champion. 

My own playing career started at 8 years old where I reached a semi final of a tennis Europe at 11 years old. I trained on a full time programme in london where I was competing nationally and in tennis europes when I took a break at 14 years old. I started playing again at 17-18 years old in British tour events. I quickly found I had a massive passion in teaching all expects of tennis to players using the experiences and difficulties I had during my journey.

Nathan Webster

Coach

Nathan started tennis at a young age competing in various completions both county and national level. His highest rank was number 10 in the county and reached top 20 in the country as a junior. He also represented his college in both singles and doubles  in the national leagues whilst studying. 

Nathan first started coaching as early as 15 years old and now has over 12 years coaching experience. He has coached in various locations around the world including the UK, greece, Spain Australia and now Dubai. 

He has worked along side award winning coaches and has worked with ITF junior players who now have ATP and WTA world rankings. He also has experience in wheelchair tennis as was a travelling coach for wheelchair tennis player number 45 in the world. 

Nathan has coached many different players from beginner level up to professional level players and thrives to see his players improve fast.

Nadir Sargysyan

I am from Armenia Yerevan . I start to play tennis when I was 9 years old .  I am multiply times Armenian national champion , National team member and Devis cup member.
In my career I used to play some good tournaments like European championship under 14 , European championship under 16 , Devis cup when I was 17 years old . I was the youngest player in Devis cup team , I won there and get beck to your country with  medals.  After I start to do coaching and try to use my experience to help people to get better  level  .
In 2022 at December I moved to Dubai and continue my coaching career here. It’s almost tree years I am doing coaching and I feel great that I can help people to improve their tennis level .
My hobby is watches and in my room a have a lot . I am in Dubai already 7 months before I came here in 2020 for camps with pro players like Evgeny Donskoy , Elias Ymer .
I love to learn languages , I know Russian, English, Armenian  and little bit Ukrainian
I like Dubai because people here are so friendly and welcoming .

Moro Bogdan

Playing tennis at the highest junior level in Romania and international events, Moro started teaching tennis and chair umpiring, finding his true passion for teaching high performance in one of the top academies in Romania.

With over 10 years of coaching experience at all levels around the world and 4 years in Dubai, he is always excited to share his experience with clients and making them fall in love with the game even more. He has both a degree and masters as a PE Teacher and graduated Romanian National Tennis Coaching School with P.T.R. and GPTCA  qualifications.

Lucy Tameru

Lucy has a great love for Tennis , has been playing it for the past 20 years and this transfers onto the court with clients. lucy has played In National and International
junior ITF in literally every country in Africa, she was on the top 3 in East Africa for few years In her category and also represented her country (Ethiopia) at the All African Games.

Lucy has been coaching for over 10 years, in Ethiopia, Germany and In Dubai for the last 6 years . she is certified with C-Trainer in competitive tennis from Germany ,PTR Instructor and ITF Academy player’s Development and also holds a Diploma in Human resources management. Lucy is a friendly, communicative and positive person who is always keen to pass on her experience to players of all levels & age .

Ciara Haggarty

I started playing tennis in a club at the age of 7 and was competing at the age of 9. I’ve been lucky enough to travel around the world playing in different competitions. I have represented my county, Warwickshire, in several competitions across the UK.
At the age of 14 I was selected to participate in my first International Children’s Games in Bangkok, Thailand. I then competed another 2 times in Cleveland, Ohio and Reykjavik, Iceland.

I decided whilst doing my GCSEs to use my knowledge of the game to start some part time coaching at my local club and from there I gained my 4 coaching qualifications and became full time at the age of 18. I’ve now been a full time coach for 13 years and have worked in UK, America, Australia and now Dubai which has massively helped in my progression into becoming the best coach I can be by learning from others around the world.

Innocent Chimanzee

“Inno” in his playing career participated not just nationally in Nigeria but represented his country on a international stage. Since then he has worked in Africa and the Middle East in leading academies. He has been coaching for the past 10 years. Has real passion when working with players of all level and patience with kids. Degree in Banking and finance. INNO has P.T.R AND PTCAN Qualifications.

Kyla Gobbett

Kyla grew up in South Africa where she started playing tennis from the early age of 4. She moved to the UK and played at Bisham Abbey in the pro academy team. She won the Berkshire Schools Tournament and went on to compete at regionals. She has been coaching tennis for the last 4 years with Living Tennis with Delgado & Lee at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre. She has significant experience with the red, orange and green ball age groups encouraging all to strive to be the best players they can be.

Verlyn Bentulan

Verlyn is a certified REPs Level 3 personal trainer and fitness nutrition specialist. I have been training clients for the past four years. I am very passionate in helping others feel good and finding happiness within themselves. I believe that when you feel good within yourself, you feel better in life. My goal is to help those who lack inspiration to stay motivated and reach there goals.

The best thing about being a personal trainer is seeing people transform both mentally and physically when they incorporate exercise into their lifestyle. My focus includes creating programs for each client with different level of fitness and I make sure they enjoy the program that can help them stay motivated and makes it easier to include fitness as part of their daily routine.

In addition, I also train kids from age 12-16yo which in my opinion is a good age to start being physically active and build strength, coordination as well as confidence in having overall healthy lifestyle. Helping kids being physically active, they learn about discipline, sportsmanship, setting goals, meeting challenges and the value of practice.

Derrick Busingye

Fitness Coach

A well certified Level  3 Personal Trainer and a  Strength  and Conditioning Coach with great experience of 8 years in coaching of plays in different sports activities. I am  very passionate at grooming kids in fitness, self-confidence and finding happiness within themselves to stay motivated and achieve their goals.

The best achievement that I accomplished as a  fitness coach is that I  have built confidence in the young players and encouraged love for the game while seeing them transforming both mentally and physically strong.My main focus includes designing of training programs  for the plays during the start of the season or after the season with the different levels of sports or fitness. Creating nutritional programs and providing knowledge to the plays for better physical growth and overall healthy lifestyle. Showing them proper mentorship skills on howto  handle sports challenges and also maintain a proper discipline during the training session and outside within  their community.

Lito Dela Cruz

Administrator & Padel Coach

Lito was born in Caloocan, Philippines, where I start my love in sports, I all join tennis club as a ball boy and succeeded to be joining club tournaments. The love in sports is already in our blood. I also pursue to finishing my college in Technological Institute of the Philippines, Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

In 2013, is the year that he was introduced in padel when he started coachng in Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex. He was trained by the best players in the country on how to teach the game. His skills and techniques have improved to be shared to those who would love to learn Padel Tennis.

 

 

Lourdes Dela Cruz

Administrator

Lourdes grew up in Manila,Philippines. She has a degree in Associate Radiologic Technology at Family Clinic College. She joined St Lukes Hospital which is one of the well known hospital in the Philippine and a joint commission international accreditation (JCIA) accredited. She has 10 years experience on these secretary, admin, receptionist and accounting. She is expert with dealing and assisting all customers needs eapecially when her everday task. Last 2014 she joined Pathak Engineering Maintenance as admin to enhance and gain more experience wirh her chosen career. Now she is working in Rackets Academy showcasing her 10 years of experience with regard to her administrative  and customer service skills.

Arcely Duldudao

Head of Administration

Arcely grew up in Manila, Philippines and has a Degree in Bachelor of Science Tourism. Joined Firnessfirst on 2013 as Memberhip Sales and Retention Manager and afterwards worked with Barre Studio as Studio Manager. Her expertise are Management, Administration, Customer Service and Sales. Now is part of Rackets Academy team to be an additional asset in the business and with admin team.

Carissa Hizon

Administrator

I was born and grew up in Manila Philippines. Had a degreee in Bachelor of Science Major in Physical Therapy from Unibersidad De Manila. Finished a year internship in country’s leading university such as University of the Philippines Diliman Rehab Medicine and East Avenue Medical Center Physical Therapy Dept as well as other rehabilitation hospitals and clinics. Did freelance service at home and rehab medicine clinics for half a year before joining pharmaceutical data research company known as Quintiles Ims in 2005 which is now considered one of top employers listed in LinkedIn. Starting from data encoder for 3 years then promoted and lead the group as Senior Production Analysts New Zealand Medical Index account for the next 7 years. An aim to further enhance a career in data analytics I had development trainings on leaderships and data management.

Donnabelle Jorda

Elite Program Administrator

Belle grew up in Laguna,Philippines and has a degree of Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management. In 2018 she joined in Jumeirah Golf Estates as Tour Academy Administrator for 5 years handling the European Tour Players, Administrative task and providing excellence customer service.

Now she’s part of the of Rackets Academy Team continuing assisting Elite squad players and keeping the excellence customer service in Rackets Academy.

 

Jennifer Rath

Elite Program Physiotherapist

After graduating from the University of Central Lancashire in 2008 Jen spent 8 years working as a Physiotherapist in the NHS, private practice and professional football. After moving to Dubai in 2016 she has been at UPANDRUNNING for 3 1/2 years where she is educational lead, rehab team manager and clinic manager at their Emirates Golf Club branch.

Jen completed her MSc in Advancing Physiotherapy Practice in 2020 via Sheffield Hallam University and took on the role of advisory Physiotherapist at Rackets Academy in December 2019.

Her specialist interests include spinal injuries, lower limb and shoulder injuries. Outside of work she enjoys gym training, kickboxing and much to the despair of George, tries really hard to play tennis! You can meet Jen on Tuesday evenings at training in Atlanta supporting the Elite Team. 

Jonathan Camero

Tournament Supervisor

His love for Tennis started when he was 10 years old. After 22 years in the corporate world in the field of Logistics and Customer Service, Jonathan joins Rackets Academy as the Travel and Tournament Supervisor as his passion for tennis continue to grow.

Aside for being a qualified Tennis Line Judge which he has been doing since 2000 for the Dubai Tennis Championships, Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge, Mubadala World Tennis Championship and other local events, he has also travelled to the Czech Republic for Umpiring work in both Professional Event and European Juniors Tour. Jonathan is also a Chair Umpire in the Rackets Academy UTR PTT events. His vast experience in tennis now includes running the Orange Ball Match Play program.
